Our story
WorkAware was founded in 2014 in Canada with a focus on helping industrial organizations simplify safety processes across complex work environments.
As industries became more distributed, WorkAware expanded into a cloud-based safety management platform supporting field workflows, digitization, and safety compliance.
In 2020, WorkAware became part of ZenaTech Inc., a Nasdaq-listed technology solutions company led by Dr. Shaun Passley. The acquisition brought WorkAware into ZenaTech's growing portfolio of enterprise software solutions, supporting the platform's continued development and expansion.
Following the acquisition, WorkAware entered a new phase of product growth, including an enhanced mobile app experience and redesigned web interface. With continued updates introduced in 2026, WorkAware provides safety and operations teams with connected tools to manage work across jobsites, facilities, and field environments.
